The Oregon Forest Resources Institute announced today that Oregon State Forester Doug Decker has appointed David Furtwangler of Sweet Home to join OFRI’s board of directors.

Oregon State Forester Decker announced today he is soliciting applications from qualified persons interested in becoming a member of the Oregon Forest Resources Institute Board of Directors. OFRI is a state agency based in Portland dedicated to forestry education.

OFRI earns Project Learning Tree Gold Star award

Project Learning Tree, a program of the American Forest Foundation and the Council for Environmental Education, has awarded the Oregon Forest Resources Institute its Gold Star award at its annual conference held in Montgomery, Texas.
