Pacific Logging Congress: Volunteer Signup Form

Volunteer mentors from the forestry community are needed to guide students in grades 5 through 12 at this year’s Pacific Logging Congress "In The Woods Show" on September 15 and 16 near Clatskanie, Oregon.

Volunteers will receive materials in advance with information about the site and tips on how to have a successful experience. Most tours start at approximately 9 a.m. with a brief volunteer registration and orientation. You will be asked to guide only one group through a 2-3 hour experience with about 25-30 students. Exact details will be provided as the September dates near and we have more information from our visiting schools. The show site will have educational markers along a designated trail. Most guides will have time to revisit the show after they have completed their educational tours.

Volunteers will receive a free pass to the show, T-shirt and interpretation materials.
