A new special report from OFRI examines the problems and potential solutions facing unhealthy and at-risk federal forests in Oregon. Federal Forestland in Oregon documents a growing consensus that proactive management practices can restore federal forests to environmental, economic and social sustainability.

New research for OFRI and ODF provides the most current, comprehensive view of Oregonians’ values and beliefs on a range of forest topics. One in three residents doesn’t know state law requires replanting after harvest.
