Natural and human-caused disturbances have continually altered Oregon's forests. The result is a diverse landscape featuring forest stands of all ages. Forest animals have adapted to these changes, seeking the habitat that best suits their needs. This booklet describes some of the wildlife associated with forest stands of different ages and identifies some of the trees and plants.
